Starbucks Logo with Mickey Ears!
My two favorite things re now together! I love the fact that I can go to Disney, and have my frappuccino as well. It truly does make my day there a billion times better. If you love it as much as me, then please feel free to use the image, it is on here as a SVG file.
Good Morning! This whole week we are showcasing how awesome Clear Scraps and Imagine Crafts work together! I used the irresistible inks and the Staz On inks! See how I make the cool firework effect by wiping some away while it dried? That is literally all I did! I sprayed the black and bronze irrRESISTible ink in a swirled pattern - let it dry for a few minutes - then sprayed it off with water in my shower! The results are a reversed fireworks pattern.
For the Memories Title - I just sprayed it with the black irrRESISTible ink - and force dried it with my heat gun to get the cracks and definition.
While that finalized its drying, I cut my picture mats - this is a double mat for a 4"x6" picture. I then added a gold doily behind the mat for a little girlish charm. You will see that once I attached the title - I also added some black gemstones (my favorite embelly). Thanks for stopping by!
Layout with Echo Park Paper and Stickers, StazOn, and irRESISTible Inks
it is the Simple Life collection. With it's coordinating papers and stickers there is enough to make a large number of projects. This is my layout. This was a simple layout that I made using yellow and brown Bazzill cardstock, and just 2 sheets from the Simple Life Collection. This is a 12x12 layout - and inked the edges with Orange Zest and St. Valentine StazOn inks. You will also see one generic white doily, and two of our gorgeous clear flowers - both separately inked.
StazOn ink sticks and adheres wonderfully to Clear Scraps acrylic. It should be allowed about 10-15 minutes to dry, and stays permanently. The irRESISTible inks dry in a gorgeous raised form, giving projects just that little extra umph.
This layout is made for two pictures - one as a 4x6 the other 3x5. The large brown sheet with the flowers is 12inches by 8 inches - the the yellow sheet is 12 inches by 6 inches. Then skillfully stacked with the photo mats - stickers - Clear Scraps flowers - and inks.
My suggest - play around with these same papers to see if you can come up with another gorgeous layout.

So, my baby brother graduated this weekend. It is amazing how time has flown, it seems the last time I remember I was showing him the ropes of high school. He graduated from Lake Technical College with an autobody degree. I am so proud of him.
This card was super fun to make, and I loved being able to have the clear front, allowing you a peak of what it says inside! First off I cut this card to be 4 inches by 6inches. I know that it is not the normal size, but I like the ability of him being able to slide it into a photo album of some sort if at one day he should choose to do so.
I then adhered the clear front to the rest of that card by sewing it onto the back of the card. Which is alot easier than you would think. Before I did this though I edged the paper with the notebook paper punch from EK Success. This is literally one of my favorite punches. I find it has a HUGE amount of possibilities.
I then cut out a little owl from my Cricut Explore, colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers, then added a few little touches - glasses, and a bow tie.
While I was waiting for his feathers to dry (haha) I started making some embellishments for the front of the card. I colored one of the gears from the Gear Clear Mixers. I colored it with IG5 and IG6 Markers. I also created a little pendant using the Clearly Accents Pennant Embelishments, I added a little sticker I had in my stash that says "who's your graddy?". Which I find hilarious for some reason.
After it was all dry, I placed all of the items together, and attached them to the front of the card using 3D foam tape.
On the inside of the card I used a blue printed paper from Heidi Swapp, I thought it fit what he is doing perfectly. On top of the paper I used a cut file I have had forever and have no idea where it is from (sorry) that says "Celebrate Now".
So that is it. A simple card that I hope he will keep forever...
